Credit Crunch fever has led to people wanting to reduce costs by not spending money on cars and fuel, not good news for the automotive sector but great news for Bike retailers.

Put simply, you can own a power assisted electric bike, electric mountain bike or folding bike for the same price as 12 tanks of petrol.

With the advancing electric hub motor technology, e-bikes provide an effortless way to travel inclines and off road whilst providing exercise without the sweat that puts so many people off of biking to work.
