Top Gear Electric Bikes is part of Top Gear Ltd which is a privately owned family business. Managing Director and owner Peter Williams formed the company over 19 years ago, initially as a retail car and van sales business.
The move into Electric Bikes came later on after seeing that people were continually looking for alternative transport methods whether that be for economic, green or health reasons. Electric Bikes offered a practical solution to these issues.
Top Gear’s Vehicle Sales business provided a great platform to showcase a range of electric bicycles and mountain bikes. Giving customers an enjoyable experience when buying their e-bike.
Peter and the Top Gear team’s experience, customer service and professionalism makes them a unique distributor within the electric bike marketplace when compared with many of the smaller, online only businesses.
In 2009 Peter decided to take on the Wisper Electric Bike range as part of the growing E-bike portfolio and became a Wisper Full Service Centre. In addition to that, the Top Gear range now includes Gepida, PowaByke, PowaCycle, I-Zip and UrbanMover. Top Gear have become Leciestershire's fastest growing bike stockist with one of the most comprehensive ranges of Electric Bikes.
